Tree Swallow: The tree swallow (Tachycineta bicolor) is a small songbird with iridescent blue-green upperparts and white underparts. Males and females look similar. These aerial insectivores are found near water sources, such as ponds, marshes, and open woodlands, where they nest in tree cavities or nest boxes.
